These natural variations can be present throughout the counter top and are considered a part of its beauty.

The 5/4 inch (rough thickness) is the industry standard, slabs from different parts of the world may have slight thickness variances. It is the industry standard to have polished counter tops between 17/16 inch and 5/4 inch.
